In 622, Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon

him, left Mecca for Medina with his

friend Abu Bakr. People were searching

for them, so they hid in the cave of

Thawr for three nights. When the

searchers came close, Abu Bakr was

worried. The Prophet calmly said to

him, "Do not grieve; indeed, Allah is

with us." Allah kept them safe, and

they reached Medina.
