The Qur'an tells that Musa went to

learn from Khidr, a wise servant of

Allah. Khidr made a hole in a boat, did

something to a boy that seemed wrong,

and fixed a falling wall. Musa kept

asking why! Khidr explained: a king was

taking every good boat; Allah knew the

boy would bring great grief to his good

parents and would give them a better

child; and the wall hid treasure for

two orphans.
