Lesson 454: The Mosque in Medina
0 WPM100% Accuracy0:00 Time
Start typing
When the Prophet, peace be upon him,
arrived in Medina, his camel knelt down
on a piece of land where dates were
dried. It belonged to two orphan boys,
Sahl and Suhail. The Prophet asked them
to name a price. They wanted to give it
as a gift, but he paid for it. Then a
mosque was built there, with walls of
mud bricks. The Prophet carried bricks
himself, working side by side with his
companions. (Bukhari)
